1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the VoiceJot mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and VoiceJot ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

VoiceJot is a productivity application that uses artificial intelligence to transcribe voice recordings, generate notes, summaries, and lists, and facilitate the sharing of this content. The App leverages third-party AI services to provide these features.

3. Eligibility and Account

Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or guardian's permission to use the App.
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any account information. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your usage of the App.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

Record or share content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable.
Violate the intellectual property rights of others.
Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App.
Use the App for any purpose that violates local, state, national, or international laws.

5. User-Generated Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of the voice recordings, text, images, and other content ("User Content") you create or upload to the App.
License: By using the App, you grant VoiceJot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, process, adapt, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service (e.g., transcribing your audio). We do not sell your User Content.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of sharing it.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of VoiceJot and its licensors. The "VoiceJot" name, the Joey mascot, and the VoiceJot logo are trademarks of VoiceJot.

7. Subscriptions and Fees

Free and Paid Tiers: The App may offer free and paid subscription tiers. We reserve the right to modify our fee structure at any time.
In-App Purchases: Payments for subscriptions or one-time features are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and conditions.
Changes: Any changes to fees will be communicated to you in advance.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. VOICEJOT MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE OPERATION OF THE APP OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, OR MATERIALS INCLUDED THEREIN. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE AI TRANSCRIPTIONS OR SUMMARIES WILL BE ACCURATE OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VOICEJOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE APP; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE APP; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VoiceJot operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
